Terms and Conditions of Enrolment
Please ensure that you read and understand the conditions of enrolment at Take Part before signing and submitting the registration form.
The conditions apply to protect the health, safety and welfare of everyone at the school, and all pupils are required to comply with the agreed codes of conduct. This form sets out the expectations of all teachers, chaperones, parents and children involved in the delivery of dance, drama and singing at Take Part,
What the school provides:
1.1 Take Part provides tuition in all elements of musical theatre through classes that run on Saturday's.
What you need to do:
2.1 Students wishing to apply to the school are required to complete an enrolment form.
2.2 These are payable in advance by monthly direct debit on the first of the month.
2.3 The school reserves the right to amend or alter the fees and classes, as and when are necessary. Any increase to the cost of classes will be be notifies to you at least one month in advance.
2.4 Refunds of fees will only be given on special circumstances, for example, when a pupil is unable to continue at the school due to a long term medical condition. In such circumstances a refund will be provided on the production of a doctor's certificate.
2.5 Should it prove necessary to close the school or cancel classes due to severe weather, crisis or any circumstances in which the school has no control, fees will not be refunded or compensation given.
By entering into this agreement, Take Part commits to the following:
3.1 To provide classes with high teaching standards delivered by our staff.
3.2 To provide regular performance opportunities to enable you to watch your child(ren)'s progress at the end of each term.
By entering into this agreement you consent to the following:
4.1 That you recognise that the school provides classes to a range of young people at differing levels of ability.
4.2 That all students are required to recognise that a commitment to the school os needed to enable all members within the classes to learn and to be taught.
4.3 That the details and the information submitted by you, to us, is true and correct and that any future additions or alterations to your details and information will be notifies to us promptly and will be true and correct.
4.4 Pupils must wear the correct uniform, black pumps/trainers, black jiggers/jazz pants, Take Part t-shirt/hoodie as necessary.
4.5 We ask that great care is taken with money for any articles of value, as the school cannot accept responsibility for money or possessions lost on the premises. Items deemed as lost property and not collected after a reasonable period will be donated to charity.
Behaviour:
5.1 Pupils are expected to behave in a polite and caring manner to teachers, chaperones, and to other pupils and make every effort to arrive punctually to classes.
5.2 The school reserves the right to ask for a pupil to be removed fro the school for any of the reasons outlines below:
- not to respond to tuition
- behave in a way that disrupts the enjoyment and learning of others
- cause wilful damage
- breach the rules, conditions or regulations of Take Part
Personal Data:
6.1 The information that you supply to us is 'personal data' for the purposes for data protection legislation.
6.2 Personal data submitted by you will be held on a database to be used solely by Take Part.
6.3 In the unusual event in which the school seeks outside medical help for a pupil, we will ensure that we contact the parent/carer at the earliest opportunity. Please ensure that admin has up to date contact details for you. Here at Take Part we take the privacy of our members' data seriously and will only use your personal information for Take Part administration purposes and for communicating with you about Take Part. Only our Administrators and Senior Leadership Team will be able to access you details. At Take Part we aim to provide a teaching environment and relationship with you that supports your child and meets their needs. We aim to be open about what the school offers, how it operates, and the expectations of all involved. However, we also understand that sometimes things go wrong. If they do, we need to know that we can put them right and learn from them. We believe that addressing and addressing and resolving concerns promptly will contribute towards your confidence in the school. These terms and conditions are binding upon both parties. Please read them carefully and ensure that you are in agreement with the detail.
